Reverse the Red | Co-Chair
Kira has played a central role in the creation and leadership of Reverse the Red - a global initiative co-founded by the IUCN Species Survival Commission (SSC) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) to accelerate coordinated action for species recovery.
As a nominated SSC Co-Chair, Kira provides strategic leadership across governance, partnerships and movement direction - aligning global expertise with national action and implementation, and strengthening a solutions-focused approach to measurable conservation outcomes.
